  1. Aaron Byrd says

Lake Tillery FD in Montgomery Co. has a boat in a boat house on a ramp that’ll slide into the water. Badin Lake FD also in Montgomery Co. has 2 boats one in a boat house, and a newer one only a year or 2 old that is on a trailer until a boat house can be made.

  2. What are you considering as a fire boat? Wake Forest has a 19 ft flat bottom boat with a pump on it at Wake Forest station 5. Would this be considered as a fire boat, or is it too small? I think that the pump is only 250 gpm.

    • We are looking for watercraft that is always (or almost always) located on the water and ready to respond, specifically not on a trailer.

      Thanks!

      Jeff
